Competence Framework ‘Science for Policy’ for researchersThe European Commission Joint Research Centre developed an interactive Competence Framework called ‘Science for Policy’ for researchers. The interactive diagram allows to explore competences needed to interact with policymakers and make a positive impact together.
Five competence clusters focus on:UNDERSTAND POLICYPARTICIPATE IN POLICYMAKINGCOMMUNICATEENGAGE WITH CITIZENS & STAKEHOLDERSCOLLABORATEThe clusters unfold into 3-7 competences each (27 competences in total)
Every competence is structured into a 4-level progression model: foundational, intermediate, advanced and expert level. The competences describe attitudes, skills, and knowledge & understanding
The framework is a great way to understand how to interact with policymakers and to make an impact at the policymaking level. Take a look!
